Faith Ediger serves as the Acting Sanctuary & Healing Director of Twila Animal Sanctuary, where she leads with urgency, compassion, and unwavering commitment to animals in crisis. Her work is grounded in rapid response efforts that prioritize immediate safety, emergency care, and stabilization for animals facing neglect, displacement, or trauma.
Faith’s path as an animal advocate was profoundly shaped by the untimely loss of two of her foster cats, Twisty (depicted in bottom top photo) and Luna, affectionately named Lulu (depicted in bottom most photo). Their passing transformed personal grief into a mission-driven resolve. Twila Animal Sanctuary was founded in their honor, carrying forward their legacy through lifesaving intervention and compassionate action. What began as loss has evolved into a call to respond swiftly and decisively when animals are most vulnerable.
As part of Ember Rising, Faith guides Twila Animal Sanctuary as a frontline force for animal welfare. The sanctuary operates not only as a place of refuge, but as a rapid response hub focused on rescue, triage, rehabilitation, and coordinated care. Under her leadership, the organization emphasizes preparedness, collaboration, and timely intervention to ensure animals receive help when it matters most.
Through Faith’s direction, Twila Animal Sanctuary continues to grow as a space where urgent action meets deep compassion, where lives are protected in moments of crisis, and where healing begins the instant help arrives. Her vision is rooted in the belief that responding quickly is an act of love, and that saving lives in the moment creates lasting hope for animals and the communities that care for them.
