Taylor Wright

Justin Taylor Wright is the visionary behind Ember Rising, serving as Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). As the organization’s strategic architect and lead innovator, he brings both the ideas and direction that drive Ember Rising forward.
With a deep passion for community and child development, Taylor guides the organization’s leadership, administration, and long-term strategy. His vision centers on creating programs that empower children and strengthen communities, ensuring Ember Rising continues to grow as a catalyst for lasting transformation.

Jack Thompson, M.S.Ed
President, Ember Rising
Board Position: Vice Chairman
Acting Director: Artistic, Ursa's Echo Program
Billy Jack” Thompson serves as President of Ember Rising, acting as the lungs of the organization, bringing life, movement, and energy to its mission. Through his leadership, Ember Rising’s educational and artistic initiatives breathe vitality into the communities it serves.
With a Master’s degree in Education Assessment, Instruction & Curriculum, Jack oversees youth-focused programs while also serving as the Artistic Director of Ursa’s Echo, Ember Rising’s inclusive community dance co-operative. Working closely with Founder & CEO Justin Taylor Wright, he helps translate vision into living, breathing programs that inspire creativity, learning, and community wellness.

Faith Ediger
Co-Founder, Vice President, Ember Rising

Acting Director: Sanctuary, Twila Program
Faith is the heart of Ember Rising’s mission, bringing both passion and strategy to every initiative. As Co-Founder and Vice President of Missions & Impact, she leads with a deep commitment to community empowerment and lasting change. Faith ensures that every program is designed not only to serve immediate needs but also to create pathways for transformation and resilience.
Her role centers on measuring impact, strengthening partnerships, and amplifying the voices of those Ember Rising serves. Faith’s vision is rooted in fostering inclusive spaces where individuals and communities can heal, grow, and rise together.
